Classic Weed Brownies

Everyones favorite, or maybe not if you’ve ever had a rough experience with them haha! Speaking from both experiences, pot brownies can either be really great, or they can be really intense. The biggest issue being the potency of the brownies. My first go round making brownies I had no clue about how to dose, so I replaced the entire butter component with the cannabutter version, do not recommend. Thankfully these days I know how to keep my dose at the perfect spot that allows me to relax but also stay feeling great. These brownies are perfectly gooey and chocolatey, and take no time at all to make!

Now potency of your brownies will depend on the potency of your specific canna butter. You may need to modify the amount to get your ideal dose. I stuck with 2 tbsps of canna butter that was made with 7g of cannabis flower that was around 21% with 2 cups of butter. I had 12 servings of brownies so these came out to about 7.5 mg per brownie. If I wanted to lower that I would just take away a tbsp and replace it with regular butter, and if I wanted to increase the dose I would replace a tbsp of the regular tbsp of butter with canna butter, and so on.

Classic Weed Brownies

Course Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp cannabutter
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • good quality chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Melt both butters together in a small sauce pan over medium-low heat.
  • In a large mixing bowl add in your sugar + melted butters, whisk together.
  • Next, stir in your vanilla and then your eggs.
  • Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold together with a rubber spatula. Be careful not to over mix as this will make your brownies more cake like.
  • Fold in your chocolate chips. Then bake for 20-25 minutes until the center is just set and a toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy!
